Affirm OT is a non-registered provider

• Self-managed participants: The participant (or their family) manages the NDIS funds directly and pays for the OT services.
• Plan-managed participants: A third party (plan manager) manages the participant’s NDIS funds, but the participant still has the flexibility to choose any service provider.

Affirm OT is registered with Medicare Australia

• Chronic Disease Management (CDM) or Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plans are one of the most common ways paediatric OTs can bill Medicare. These plans are created by a General Practitioner (GP) and allow patients to access a limited number of allied health services (including OT).
• Eligibility: CDM plans are generally used for children with long-term health conditions or disabilities that require ongoing therapy.
• Medicare for up to 5 sessions per calendar year for an eligible child.
• This is a partial rebate for families. Families will pay in full and then submit the receipt to Medicare for the rebate. 

 Depending on your private health cover, you may be eligible for a partial reimbursement of session cost. Families will need to check with their private health fund, under item code 100 and 250  

Individual's or families directly pay for the therapy sessions following each session.
